Mail Art

I don't always have time to decorate my envelopes but wanted to do something special for Christine .....she's such a sweetie; hope I surprise her! I had fun doing it all in white!
Somewhere I read about a technique that I wanted to try...I rubber stamped this image with embossing ink and white opaque embossing powder. Then, using gel pens, I colored in the butterflies. After that was dry, I applied a layer of Diamond Glaze. It was supposed to look like enamel but I think the bubble-type envelope wasn't crisp enough to look that way. However, it was still kind of cool and I am pleased with the result. Have a great week friends! hugs, Carol

What a beautiful piece of Mail Art, Carol. I wanted to pop by to let you know how much you inspire me too. And that you are one of the seven who has been given The Kreativ Blogger Award. You can stop by any time to pick it up.
