Encaustic Wax

I recently joined an online group featuring current trends in Mixed Media Arts and this week I learned about using beeswax on collage. There were several steps & layers involved but I didn't start out with any particular concept. The wax process is totally addictive; here are the three canvas boards I created.

And here there are all in a row as one long collage...

Oh gosh, these are beyond beautiful!!! You have created some fantastic art, Carol! I have to get brave and try beeswax (afraid I'll burn down the house). And, um, my birthday is coming up soon! LOL!!! Just teasing. Truly, Carol, these are just gorgeous! Bravo! Lynn F.

Well, hello, I'm a Pisces too (March 1) for whatever that means. Am I more intuitive, creative, and passionate than anyone else. I don't know? I'm definitely weirder than a lot of people--or so those people tell me.

An "addictive wax process"? I've definitely got to learn more about that.
