I am participating in Lenna Andrews Grimm Fairy Tale Collage Swap. If you are not familiar with the Grimm Fairy Tales, take a look at this Wikipedia entry. This swap is sponsored by Alpha Stamps and has required Alpha Stamp products. It is a 4:4 swap with one extra as a gift for the hostess. :)
I started out with 5"x5" collage board and adhered the castle transfers I made earlier in the week. Then I cut out the Cinderella images I wanted to use and other embellishments. For the golden edges, I melted clear UTEE and added some Antique Gold Pearl-X, then applied it using a floppy watercolor brush. I'm a bit disappointed with these...overall, they look fine but I spent weeks on these from start to finish and they don't look it. OH well, such is life! :))

Carol, I think these pieces are stunning and I don't know why you're dissapointed.
Your gel medium transfers look perfect in the background.
They have an ethereal quality which is just you!
My favourite is'why is he only interested in my gown?'.Love Annette
Carol, Carol, Carol!
I do not know WHY you say you are a bit disappointed in your collages for the swap -they are awesome & imaginative. It looks like you put a LOT of work in them to me! I love how you cut out the images and layered them on top of castles, etc . . . plus the text is wonderful. I am so happy I popped over to your blog & caught a glimpse of these before they arrived in my mailbox!

Carol these collages are fabulous..I can't even imagine that you feel disappointed about them in anyway....they are so 3 dimensional in apperance in your pics..I bet they are even more beautiful in person...I wish I had one to hang in my studio so I could admire it and think of you every day. I think it is very obvious how much time and work went into these.
